Pandering to western skeptical academia, Surviving Death marginalizes the notion that we are mere bags of meat. Using scientific methods of double-blind research experiments and the like, proves beyond any reasonable probability that there is far more to life and death than simply the cessation of bodily function. That, the reality of our existence is not the be-all end all of experience before and after birth and death. A disturbing and frightening read for staunch materialists, but reassuring, and encouraging for the more esoteric crowd. With this book Leslie Kean dares skeptics to produce evidence as thorough and convincing as what is presented here to prove that there isn’t some sort of conscious experience after bodily death. Although attempting to prove nothing seems absurd in and of itself. One can only hope that we can expect more in the future, and another book wouldn’t hurt either.
